    Development of Android-Based Elin Game As Learning Media for Industrial Electronics

    Lab Learning on Electronics Industry is a must course. This is necessary for students so they have good skills. Lab Learning need practice equipment that enough to fit the quantities of students. But in fact the quantities of material and practice equipment are not being sufficient. In addition, there is no learning media that can support the courses. This study aims to develop lab learning media with technology based on game with android-base that can help the students to understand the lab course everywhere, all the time. This study using Research and Development Method (RnD) with Model of Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). This study is done through six stage that is: 1. Concept; 2) Design; 3) Collection of material; 4) Assembly; 5) Testing; and 6) Distribution. The evaluation process feasibility learning media done by granting the survey to Media Experts, Lecture experts, and respondents trial use. Based on the assessment field test by students for Industrial Electronics they can get 88.27% counted as very good. Android-Based Elin Game as Learning Media in Industrial Electronics is very reasonable and effective for teaching.     Keywords: Game, Android, Learning Media, Industrial Electronics, Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC)

    Prototype Smart Trash Can for Implementation Smart Environment in the Smart City based on Arduino and Android

    The government provides different trash cans so that people can dispose of garbage according to the type of garbage and waste will be easily recycled, and this is done in order to be a smart city. However, there are some people who do not understand in which vats they have to dispose of so that in the end they immediately throw garbage in any barrel without seeing the type of garbage in each trash can. This study aims to create a trash can that can determine the type of waste that is discarded and automatically dispose of it in the right barrel. The research method used is device design, device making, data retrieval, and data analysis. So that the results of this study are that it can be made a smart trash can prototype to be implemented in smart city based on arduino and android. Which later can also be a device for education about the type of garbage in children from an early age.     Keywords: smart trashcan, smart city, Arduin

    The Processing of Catfish into Nuggets as a Business Opportunity during the Covid-19 Pandemic

    Catfish is a food ingredient that is readily widespread and can easily be cultivated, although the community might have relatively limited space. Catfish may also provide several business opportunities for the community amidst the covid-19 pandemic. One potentially profitable business idea is to process catfish into nuggets because nuggets are popular among both children and adults alike. Nuggets can also be used as a practical substitute for side dishes. This activity aims to provide training on how to process catfish into nuggets for the women from PKK (Family Welfare Development/Pembinaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga) and cadre programs in Lidah Wetan Gang VI, Lakarsantri, Surabaya. The program was held in PPT CERIA RT 3 RW 3, Lidah Wetan Gang VI, Lakarsantri, Surabaya. Before the training, all the necessary permits and information were obtained to ensure the program's success. The training activity shows how the catfish nuggets have a shape and texture of typical nuggets with their taste like chicken nuggets. However, what makes the catfish nuggets unique is that they still retain a slight distinctive catfish taste. It is expected that this activity will benefit the community, especially those interested in the catfish processing business

    Primer concentration and Pre-denaturation Time Effect on cyt-K Bacillus cereus Detection using Real-Time PCR Method

    Foodborne disease is a global threat that can affect all sections of society, both in developed or developing countries. Bacillus cereus is a Gram-positive bacteria that can cause food poisoning disease in humans. [2] Real-Time PCR detection method is one of the molecular marker methods that has been widely recognized as a fast, reliable, sensitive and specific detection tool for detecting pathogenic bacteria. In previous studies, the optimum condition and formulas applied for cyt-K 2 primer pairs have been obtained using Real-Time PCR. The purpose of this study is to find out the best conditions work of the primer pair cyt-K Bacillus cereus on detecting bacteria target using variations of pre-denaturation time and primer concentration with Real-Time PCR method. The annealing temperature used for PCR is at 60°C with sample concentration 50 ng/µL of B. cereus. Real-time PCR detection of variations in pre-denaturation time and primer concentration obtained the best conditions for primer pair cyt-K work at minute 4 with a primer concentration of 10 pmol and successfully amplifying the target by producing a Ct value of B. cereus at 13.04. Based on the results of the study, the primer pair cyt-K were reproducible in detecting the target gene and in the further step, this research can be continued to developed a prototype detection kit for foodborne pathogen bacteria using Real-Time PCR method

    The purpose of the research as an effort to solve the college students problem in Textile Analysis lectures at Pinching Tecnique.Thereare the difficulties in making pattern/motif and coloring process of pinching fubric. This purpose head for resulting media in valid and practical. This research was known as Research & Development (R&D). The research procedures include define, design and develop stages. The data was from validity test, small group and big group of college students practicallity test, and advisor of Textile Analysis leature subject. The validity test given to 3 validator, practicallity test given to 10 college students, big group practicallity test given to 30 college students and given to 1 advisor of Textile Analysis lectures subject. Based validity test the researcher got score 4,56 which categorized as valid. The result of practicallity test from small group was got score 78,50% which categorized as practical, big group test was got score 80,04% which categorized as very practical and test from advisor of lectures subject was got score 83,33% which categorized as very practical. So this module is proper to use as learning media
